Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment means you’re still in high school, but you also take classes at a college at the same time. Those college classes can sometimes count for both your high school graduation and future college credit. It’s a way to get ahead, try out college-level courses, and save time (and sometimes money) later.

There are some important aspects to consider regarding this option. The form below details the requirements and other important information about the concurrent enrollment process. Additionally, feel free to view the Concurrent Enrollment Information Session recording and slides on the next tab.

The next step in this process is to set up a Parent/Guardian and Student meeting with Mrs. Powell to discuss this further and see if it’s the right fit for you. If you’d like to set up a meeting with Mrs. Powell, you can book a meeting here or email her at counselors@sdvsk12.org.
